Introduction

Piazza Esedra, also known as the Semi-Circular Square, is an ancient bath site located next to the central train station in the heart of Rome. In the center of the square is a nymph fountain, flanked by two fan-shaped buildings, creating a unique religious architectural style along with the angel statues and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri nearby. This square is also famous for being the first stop for the runaway princess in the film "Roman Holiday".
