Introduction

Sevan Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Armenia and the surrounding area. It is also the largest lake in the country, located at an altitude of about 1900 meters and covering about 3% of Armenia's territory. Due to its location in the mountains, the temperature here is lower and the temperature of the lake water is very cool. In summer, it becomes a popular summer resort, while in winter, cold weather persists for a long time.
