Introduction

The Ancient Agora Museum is located within the Stoa of Attalos, a building dating back to around 150 BC and the only fully restored building in the ancient ruins of Athens, with a strong Greek character. The museum displays artifacts from the ancient market, including many pottery shards and vessels used for voting, providing visitors with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of ancient Athenian daily life and culture.
