Parthenon Temple

Temple of Zeus in Olympia
The Temple of Olympian Zeus, located at the foot of Mount Olympus, is an important historical site and a symbol of Greek culture. Built in the 6th century BC to commemorate the main god Zeus, it has 105 massive marble columns, which are up to 17 meters high, making it one of the largest temples in the ancient world. Despite earthquakes, invasions by the Huns, and other natural disasters over the centuries, it has managed to retain its grandeur and unique ancient style, making it well worth a visit.
Temple of Erechtheion
The Erechtheion Temple is one of the famous buildings on the Acropolis of Athens, located north of the Parthenon. It is considered one of the most sacred places on the Acropolis. According to legend, it is the throne of the main god Zeus and the location of the tombs of legendary kings. As a typical representative of the Ionic style in the architecture of the Acropolis of Athens, its design is very complex and exquisite, situated on uneven high ground. Nowadays, tourists can only admire its history and architectural charm from the outside, experiencing the prosperity and extravagance of ancient Athens.
Temple of Victory
On the southwest side of the Acropolis in Athens, there is a steep and prominent platform, on which stands a magnificent building - the Temple of Athena Nike. The temple was built to house the statue of Nike, the wingless goddess, hence its name. This building is considered a masterpiece by Callicrates, one of the designers of the Parthenon, and was constructed between 427-424 BC to celebrate the Athenians' victory in the Persian Wars. Despite some damage caused by wars, the main structure of the Temple of Athena Nike remains intact and continues to impress.
Temple of Hephaestus
The Temple of Hephaestus is located in the ancient marketplace ruins and is one of the well-preserved ancient Greek buildings. It is dedicated to Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire and forge. The temple has gone through many changes. From the 7th century to 1834, it was used as the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, and later transformed into a museum. In 1934, it became a historical site used for archaeological research. Currently, visitors can only admire the beauty of the temple from the outside and cannot visit the interior.
Temple of Artemis
The Temple of Artemis was dedicated to the goddess of hunting and childbirth, Artemis. Next to the temple, there is a wall, and the north staircase was built in the 5th century BC, completed at the same time as the mountain gate. The Temple of Artemis is a long-standing and breathtaking attraction. Although only remnants remain, it is still considered an important part of Greek cultural heritage.
Poseidon Temple
The Temple of Poseidon, built by Poseidon, has ruins in many places in Greece, but one of the more famous ones is located on Cape Sounion, southeast of Athens, at the southern tip of the Attica Peninsula. The temple is about 70 kilometers from the city center of Athens and offers a great vantage point to admire the Aegean Sea and charming sunset views. Perched on a cliff about 65 meters high, the temple offers spectacular scenery.
