Introduction

The Royal Chapel of Granada, located in the Andalusia autonomous community in southern Spain, is a tomb that houses the Catholic monarchs Isabella I and Ferdinand II, as well as their daughter Joanna and her husband Philip I, and their grandson Miguel de la Paz. The chapel also features a museum with a collection of holy relics, including skulls, portraits, tapestries, baroque sculptures, and paintings from 15th-century Flemish, Italian, and Spanish artists. Masterpieces by artists such as Rogier van der Weyden, Dirk Bouts, Botticelli, Perugino, and Bartolomé Bermejo are on display.
