Introduction

"Mushroom" is the common name for the Metropol Parasol, a wooden structure located in the old town of Seville, Spain. Designed by German architect Jürgen Mayer-Hermann, it was completed in April 2011 and is one of the world's largest wooden structures, covering an area of 150 meters by 70 meters and standing approximately 26 meters tall. The Mushroom has four levels, including an Antiquarium on the basement level displaying Roman and Moorish remains, and a ground floor central market for shopping. Additionally, there are two upper levels for sightseeing and enjoying the beautiful views.
