Introduction

The City Hall is located in the center of the Market Square, and it is one of the most important buildings in the Market Square. The current City Hall was rebuilt in the 19th century, with statues of Diana, Neptune, Adonis and Amphitrite standing around, filled with strong Greco-Roman style. There is a clock tower in the center of the City Hall, and tourists can take the elevator to the clock tower by paying 5 gryvnias to enjoy the splendid view of Lviv. Although there is no dedicated viewing platform at the top of the tower, visitors can still enjoy the scenery safely with care. In addition, various activities are often held at the City Hall's entrance, such as Tango dance parties on Monday nights in the summer and an ice rink in the winter, providing excellent entertainment venues.
