Introduction

The Church of St. Donat, located in Zadar, is a unique and historic former Romanesque church. Built in the 9th century and renovated in the 15th century, it is no longer used as a church and has been converted into a music hall. Among the 14 surviving churches in Zadar, the Church of St. Donat holds a special place. It is worth noting that the ruins in front of the church are the remains of an ancient Roman palace, adding an important historical and cultural significance to the area.
