Introduction

The Kremlin is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is derived from the Russian word "Kremlin," meaning fortress. In fact, many ancient cities in Russia have their own "Kremlin," but none is as important as the Kremlin in Moscow. Since the unification of Russia by the Moscow Principality, excluding the "Peterburg period" of over two hundred years, the Kremlin has always been the heart of Russia. The Kremlin has two museums, where many precious artifacts are collected. The Armory museum's most famous collections include the Fabergé eggs, the Tsar's coronation crowns, various royal costumes, and carriages. The Diamond Fund collections are even more stunning, including the Tsar's diamond crown, diamond scepter, diamond medals, and the famous Shah Diamond. Regardless of your expectations or prejudices, these dazzling diamonds will leave you amazed. To enter these two museums, you need to go through the entrance of the Pine Forest Tower at the southwest corner of the fortress, purchase separate tickets, and enter at designated time slots. If you want to thoroughly visit all the facilities and exhibits open to visitors, it will take at least a whole day. And if you only want to quickly visit two squares and three cathedrals, it will still take over two hours. In any case, the Kremlin is a must-see in Russia, especially in Moscow.

In the past 300 years, the city has undergone several name changes, from Leningrad to Petrograd, and now Saint Petersburg. Its fate has also been tumultuous, including experiencing the White Terror, enduring a 900-day siege, and witnessing the heroic defense during the Great Patriotic War. Its brilliance has never been overshadowed by gunfire or bloodshed. After protection and reconstruction, it remains "open, inclusive, and romantic"
