Located in the southern part of Ulm's old town, at the mouth of the Blue Creek into the river. It used to be a gathering place for fishermen and tanners, hence the name. Today, it still retains traces of history, with many old houses with exposed wooden beams, various small bridges, and ancient stone-paved roads, making it the most characteristic and romantic place in Ulm, attracting tourists from all over the world.
