Introduction

Hannover Exhibition Center is one of the largest exhibition centers in the world. It has an indoor venue area of 496,000 square meters and an outdoor space of 58,000 square meters, with 27 exhibition halls and a conference center with 35 functional halls. After World War II, due to the Soviet occupation of Leipzig Exhibition Center, the British had to find a suitable location to hold trade fairs. Therefore, they chose a former aircraft manufacturing plant in the southern part of Hannover. In 1947, the first exhibition was held here, and since then, Hannover Exhibition Center has become one of the world's famous exhibition venues. In addition to the 2000 World Expo, the annual CeBIT and Hannover Messe are also held here.
