Introduction

The Ningbo Palace Garden covers an area of approximately 3 square kilometers. The large garden behind the palace is decorated with 12 sculptures made of white marble, creating a beautiful landscape. The ancient trees in the garden tower into the sky, and various birds dance among them, with the natural environment being perfectly protected. This garden was built in 1617 in an Italian style, but was expanded in the 18th century with a French style, and in the early 19th century it shifted towards an English garden style, all while incorporating characteristics of Baroque gardens.
