Introduction

Shifen Waterfall is a curtain-shaped waterfall with inclined layers that run opposite to the direction of water flow. It is often referred to as the "Niagara Falls of Taiwan" due to its similarity to the famous Niagara Falls in North America. The waterfall is majestic and thunderous, creating a spectacular sight that showcases the wonders of nature. Mist fills the air above the water pool, and on clear days, a slanting rainbow can be seen over the waterfall, earning it the nickname "Rainbow Abyss."
