Introduction

The old factory buildings of the Songshan Tobacco Factory have been transformed into a creative park with various life functions, expanding on the concept of the Huashan 1914 Creative Park. The park emphasizes eco-friendliness and is known for its swan sightings. The renovation of the old factory buildings pays attention to details. Compared to the Huashan Cultural Park, the Songshan Park is more suitable for family visits rather than just intellectuals. In 2012, the Songshan Creative Park was designated as the "creative base of Taipei City" with the goal of developing into a creative hub through four main strategies: Creative Lab, Creative Cooperative, Creative Academy, and Creative Showroom, fostering more creative talents.
