Introduction

Beitou Library has been named one of the 25 most beautiful public libraries by Flavorwire.com. The library features unique reading spaces, with reading platforms on the first and second floors extending outward, facing distant mountains and enjoying a refreshing breeze, creating a natural and wild atmosphere. The library utilizes large floor-to-ceiling windows and takes full advantage of the geographical environment of the south-facing park and the north-flowing stream to bring in scenery and natural light. The building, resembling a treehouse in the forest, is a standard green building that incorporates sustainable features such as wood materials, solar power generation, and rainwater collection systems. The hardware and software facilities blend harmoniously with the natural landscape.
