Introduction

Chinatown Assembly Hall is the oldest Chinese assembly hall in Hoi An, believed to have been built in the Ming Dynasty. It has been a gathering place for the local Chinese community. In addition to the shrine dedicated to the Heavenly Lady, the assembly hall also houses several stone steles that record the history of the assembly hall and the stories of Chinese martyrs, allowing visitors to trace the past and present of the assembly hall
