The Postal Museum is located in a charming old stone building near Caudan Waterfront, and is one of the oldest post offices in Mauritius, dating back to 1860. Here, you can admire numerous stamps, first day covers and other interesting artifacts that bear witness to the history of postal service in Mauritius. In addition, on the last Saturday of each month at 1:00 pm, the Postal Museum hosts meetings of the Philatelic Society, giving enthusiasts the chance to share their experiences and knowledge. The museum's gift shop also offers a variety of souvenirs such as stamps, first day covers, stamp albums, books, key chains, etc. so you can leave with fond memories.
