Introduction

Badshahi Mosque, located in Lahore, was built during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in 1673. It is one of the largest mosques in Pakistan at that time. The architectural style of the mosque belongs to the Mughal architecture, consisting of arches, courtyards, and prayer halls. The main prayer hall has three domes on its roof and each side, capable of accommodating 100,000 worshippers at the same time. Surrounding the mosque, there are also four minarets towering at a height of 53.75 meters. Prior to the construction of Faisal Mosque, Badshahi Mosque was one of the most popular mosques in Pakistan, providing a serene and dignified place of worship for Muslims.
