Introduction

The habitat of penguins - the ocean, is not only their source of food, but also hides many dangerous factors. Carnivores such as sea lions, seals, and killer whales often pose a threat to penguins. Especially for seals, although they prey on penguins, it is only limited to weaker or sick individuals. Healthy penguins are usually good at swimming, faster than seals, and can avoid danger. The South African unique spotted penguin is a small penguin weighing between 500g to 1000g, with black rings and small black spots on their chest, and pink eye circles. They live along the coast of Cape Town, East London and other places. In 1982, local fishermen discovered two pairs of spotted penguins in the area. With the protection of local residents, this species gradually grew and expanded. As of today, the number of spotted penguins has exceeded 3000.
