Introduction

Hongmen (Yitianmen) is located north of Daizongfang at the foot of Mount Tai, and is the starting point for climbing the central route of Mount Tai. Its name comes from the red stone gate on the Lingnan cliff. Although its creation time is unknown, it was renovated during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Hongmen Palace is an important gateway connecting the middle stream of Mount Tai, consisting of a group of temple-like buildings, forming a semi-closed concave space. In front of it, there are also three white stone arches and inscriptions, forming a group of ancient buildings with a unique shape, rich colors and a well-organized layout, which seems to be a ladder leading to the sky.
