Introduction
The Echoing-Sand Mountain is located in the Kubuqi Desert in Dalat Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. It is named after the sound made by the sand. This is a desert that is relatively close to the mainland and Beijing, and it is also a leading desert. The Hantai River flows through the Echoing-Sand Mountain, and the Gouziliang is opposite it across the river.
The sand dunes at the Echoing-Sand Mountain are 110 meters high with a slope of 45 degrees, forming a crescent-shaped sand mountain with an echo wall. The sand dunes are vast and boundless. When climbing up the cloud ladder, you can hear a roar that sounds like a plane passing by as you slide down from the top of the sand. When holding sand in your hands, you can hear the croak of frogs. This is the origin of the name of the Echoing-Sand Mountain.
