Wuliangsuhai Tourism Area
Ulan Suhai in Wuliangsuhai tourist area is one of the eight large freshwater lakes in China, known as the "Pearl of the Outer Great Wall". It is also an ideal paradise for photographers with its lakes, reed beds, and flying birds. The common way to explore is by boat, to see the reeds and birds in the lake.
Jinghu Ecotourism Area
The Mirror Lake Ecotourism Area is located on the west side of Linhe Agricultural Reclamation in Bayannaoer, 9 kilometers north of the urban area. It covers an area of more than 2,500 acres, with a green grassland in the south, a sprawling desert of 3,000 acres in the west, and farmland in the north, with a calm lake of over 1,200 acres in the center. The lake features various tourist, vacation, entertainment, and ecological construction landscapes such as "Knight Manor, Archery Club, Water Maze, Green Island Restaurant, Leisure Archipelago, Picnic and Catering Island, and Grand View Garden Hotel." Surrounded by trees and lush grass, with jumping fish and reeds, it can be compared to the "Shahu" in Ningxia. Visitors can enjoy the picturesque water park with its meandering lanes, explore the miniature Great Wall on the islands, and experience the thrilling aerial ropeway, as if entering a fairyland, making it a perfect place for leisure and holiday.
Wengen Tala Grassland Tourist Area
The WengentaLa Tourist Reception Center was established in 2010, covering an area of 300 acres with an investment of 5 million yuan. The additional investment for construction is 1 million yuan, making a total investment of 6 million yuan. The overall plan includes 100 Mongolian yurts, of which 47 have been completed. WengentaLa Grassland is located at the northernmost end of the "Ji" character bend of the Yellow River, in the hinterland of the Hetao Plain. Here, you can breathe freely on the vast grassland, and if you are brave enough, you can ride camels and horses to fully enjoy the grassland life.
Ulan Buh Desert Tourism Zone
The Ulan Buh Desert, also known as "Red Bull" in Mongolian, is one of the eight major deserts in China with a total area of nearly 10,000 square kilometers. The northeast part of the desert extends into Bayannur City, covering an area of more than 3,370 square kilometers. Visitors can enjoy the desert scenery here and admire the magnificent starry sky at night.
Hetao Cultural Museum in China is a multi-functional complex that includes a museum, library, art gallery, and group art museum. Bayannur City is the core area of the Pan-Hetao Cultural Circle and the birthplace of Hetao Culture.
