Introduction
Shengtang Mountain is located about 45 kilometers from the county town of Jinxiu. Its main peak reaches a height of 1979 meters. Within the approximately 150 square kilometer scenic area, the mountain peaks soar into the clouds, creating a serene and mystical atmosphere with its ancient and rugged terrain, and cloud formations that resemble a fairyland. Shengtang Mountain is known as a "fairyland on earth," attracting many tourists with its natural landscapes such as the red peaks, towering cliffs, and deep valleys. In addition, Shengtang Mountain is not only a kingdom of mists but also a green treasure trove and a natural botanical and zoological garden, preserving many rare tree species, flowers, and Chinese herbal medicines, especially precious plants such as the pearl Arhat pine, Huangshan pine, South China five-needle pine, Bougainvillea and Fujian cypress, southern hemlock, and color-changing azalea. Shengtang Mountain is also a paradise for rare birds and animals, protecting many animal species.
