Introduction

Zhenbeitai is the largest existing watchtower of the Great Wall, and is known as the "Number One Tower of Ten Thousand Miles of the Great Wall". It is one of the three treasures of the Great Wall, along with Shanhaiguan and Jiayuguan. Overlooking Yulin City and Hongshixia Reservoir, the view is very spectacular. On a clear day, visitors can also see the ruins of six other watchtowers. Before visiting the tower, tourists can first visit the newly built "Great Wall Museum" to learn about the historical background and surrounding terrain of the scenic area.

Transportation
Bus: Take bus routes 3 or 5 within the city and get off at Zhenbeita. Turn right following the signage and walk for about 15 minutes to reach the destination.
