Introduction

The southern peak of Mount Hua is considered the highest peak, and also the highest peak of China's Five Great Mountains, reaching a height of 2160.5 meters. The southern peak consists of two main peaks, the Eastern peak called Songgui Peak and the Western peak called Luoyan Peak. However, some people also split the southern peak into three peaks, including the Xiaozhi Peak on the west side of Luoyan Peak.

Transportation
The attraction is located within the Huashan Scenic Area. There are several ways to get there: 1. Take a train to Huashan Station and transfer to a bus to the scenic area for 3 yuan, or take a taxi for around 15-20 yuan. 2. If arriving at Huashan North Station (high-speed railway station), there is a tourist line available in front of the station that can take you to Huashan Visitor Center or Huashan Yuquan Courtyard (the hiking starting point) for 10 yuan per person. 3. At the east square of Xi'an Railway Station, take the "Tourist Line 1" bus for around 25 yuan. The bus departs at 8:00 am from the east square of the station, passing through Xiyue Temple, and ending at the Yuquan Courtyard hiking starting point. The return bus from Yuquan Courtyard departs at 5:00 pm and takes around 2 hours. This line stops operating during the off-season (January-March). Additionally, there are many buses from Xi'an Railway Station operated by the public bus company that directly go to Huashan at around 30 yuan per person. 4. At the east bus station of Xi'an, there are several long-distance buses to Huayin City every day between 7:00 am and 7:15 pm, with one leaving every 15 minutes. The bus stops at Huashan on the way. Tell the driver you want to get off at "Huashan" to be dropped off at the Yuquan Courtyard hiking starting point. To reach the South Peak: From the entrance of Huashan Scenic Area, take an electric vehicle to the Yuquan Courtyard entrance, then start hiking. Go through the North Peak (which serves as a transfer station between the other peaks), and pass through Jinshuo Pass, Canglongling, Mid-Peak, East Peak, and Changkong Plank Road to reach the South Peak.
