Introduction

The spiral ramp designed and built by Moro in 1932 is one of the highlights not to be missed in the Vatican Museums. It consists of two double spiral ramps, one for people and one for empty platforms, which alternately open to prevent people from meeting while going up and down the stairs. This spiral ramp, which descends and ascends, is like a wonderful eternal melody frozen in it. Each step forms a rhythm and note, and each flower fence is a beat. After walking through this unchanged music road, the end of the movement gradually fades away.
