Introduction

The Tangen hot spring field is located in the center of the Kusatsu Onsen street, named after the fields that surround it formed by hot springs. It is a symbol of Kusatsu Onsen and the source of the hot springs. Approximately 4,000 liters of hot spring water gush out every minute and are transported to surrounding hotels and baths. The surrounding tile paths and Shirane-san benches provide a comfortable walking environment, and you can also enjoy the pleasure of foot baths for free. Here, the high-temperature spring water will form a hot spring crystal "flower" after cooling, which is an excellent choice for bathing and skincare. The wooden frame above the Tangen hot spring field is for collecting hot spring crystal flowers and is controlled by the local government.
