Introduction

Lover's Cliff, located on the northern cliffs of Dumeng Bay, is a place with a long history. According to legend, during the Spanish colonial period, a girl named Chamolo deeply loved a young and brave warrior, but her father forced her to marry a Spanish colonel. One night, the girl fled her home, determined to find her true love. Unfortunately, she was discovered, and the pursuers forced her and her boyfriend to the edge of the cliff. At that moment, the lovers tied their hair together to show that they would never be separated, and jumped off the cliff together. This moving story has been commemorated in five languages on a memorial wall in front of Lover's Cliff, and is a popular spot for tourists to take photos. Overlooking the beautiful scenery of Dumeng Bay, Lover's Cliff is absolutely worth visiting. Of course, many couples come to this place to hang a lock, symbolizing that their love is as strong as the lock.
