What are the must-try foods in Borneo Island?

The marine resources of Mint Island are unique, not only reflected in the beautiful scenery, but also providing the local people with abundant food. Although the cuisine of Mint Island is relatively unknown in the culinary world, the ingredients here are fresh. You can eat freshly caught sea urchins in the ocean, and peel large prawns with bare hands... This rugged food experience will add a special flavor to your journey.

"Monkey Glasses" themed restaurant

Highly recommended, with beautiful scenery, great value for money, exquisite and delicious food, and excellent service. The best restaurant with a view on all of Boracay Island, with a surprisingly huge footprint that you must pass through a large garden to get to. After arriving at the hotel by shuttle, non-guests need to pay an entrance fee of 350 pesos per person at the front desk, which can be used towards your meal and you will receive a small ticket. Then, the hotel shuttle will take you to the restaurant. The restaurant is built on a cliff and you can enjoy a candlelit dinner in the glass building or sit on the terrace while facing a 250-degree stunning sea view with no dead angles both inside and outside. In addition, you can also go down the cliff on a stone path to the beach. It is recommended to visit in the evening to enjoy the candlelit dinner after watching the sunset. The peaceful environment and thoughtful service will make you feel very comfortable. The average cost is around 200 RMB per person.

Lola Chinese Restaurant

A restaurant owned by people from Fujian, located on the way to the beach. When you get to the three-way intersection of Alona Beach, turn up the slope and you can see it. The taste is very good, especially the stir-fried crabs, and the prawns are also delicious. The price is not cheap, with prawns at 1700p/KG and crabs at 1600p/KG. During peak hours, there are many people and you may need to queue up.
Bee Farm features a restaurant, hotel, and farm experience all in one place. The hotel buildings are made of wood and bamboo, with handmade crafts and seashell decorations surrounding them, creating a pure and natural environment. The farm houses over ten thousand honey bees, producing pure and natural honey every day. Bee Farm's ice cream and famous flower salad are not to be missed, having a refreshing and pleasant taste. With such scenery and cool sea breeze, anything you eat will bring you a sense of happiness. After lunch, you can also buy souvenirs and fresh honey. The durian flavor is highly recommended, being very rich, and the avocado flavor is also delicious.
The only Thai restaurant on Arona Beach is right by the seaside, facing the ocean, and the sun was exceptionally good at that time. I chose an outdoor seat and watched the unbeatable sea view while waiting for the food. The owner is a Thai woman, and the Thai food is very authentic. The giant prawns and Green Curry are very classic and the signature dishes of this restaurant.
