Introduction

The Torres del Paine, also known as the Towers of Paine, is one of the most famous landmarks in the Torres del Paine National Park. It consists of three towering peaks resembling sharp points, known as the "Three Towers". The highest central peak reaches a height of 3050 meters. The beautiful glacier lake in turquoise color complements the stunning scenery. The Torres del Paine faces east and is a perfect spot to witness the sunrise. To visit the Torres del Paine, visitors can begin from the Las Torres Hotel and follow the marked trails, which takes about 4.5 to 5 hours each way on foot. Camping enthusiasts can choose to stay overnight at Campamento Torres and climb the mountain early in the morning to witness the sunrise, which takes about an hour. Visitors staying at Las Torres Hotel or the paid campsites can choose to make a round trip on the same day, but should note that the hiking difficulty is relatively high.
