Introduction

Monaco Port consists of two parts: Port Hercule and Fontvieille Port. Port Hercule is a deep-water port with a long history. It used to be a trading port for the Greeks and Romans. Over time, the number of berths at this port has reached 700 and can accommodate large oil tankers. In addition, the newly built docks and yacht club provide docking places for yachts. Fontvieille Port is located on a geographically advantageous rock, not affected by the east wind, and can accommodate up to 275 boats with a draft of 3 meters. Fifty years ago, this was a barren land, and economic development has made this area prosperous. There are many shops and tourist attractions near the pier, providing services for visiting crew members. Each berth on the dock is equipped with water and electricity and has toilets and showers, providing comfortable resting places for crew members. Monaco Port welcomes sailors at all times, adding warmth and convenience to their journey. The photo is from Wikipedia, and the photographer is Niels Mickers.
