Introduction

The museum adopts the traditional Suzhou garden style, with well-arranged buildings, deep gray rooftops, and white walls, resembling a miniature garden. The museum consists of two parts: the new museum displaying antiques such as pottery from ancient times to modern days and the Zhongwang Mansion exhibiting Suzhou-style colored paintings. In addition, there are four permanent exhibitions featuring Suzhou's unique characteristics: Wu's cultural relics, Wu's tower national treasures, Wu's elegance, and Wu's calligraphy and painting. The Folk Customs Exhibition also showcases the customs and habits of Suzhou, allowing visitors to experience the historical scenes of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom by observing the ancient architecture.
