Beijing's hidden coffee list, hidden in the hutongs

Counting the small, niche cafes in Beijing, there are open-air coffee houses where you can't speak, shops that only open at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, places full of owls, and uncommon flavors like durian latte and red velvet latte. Most of them are hidden deep in the hutongs and may be difficult to find without using navigation.

Silent coffee

The position upon entering is the counter. Upstairs is the terrace area, which has a good view and is suitable for idling when the weather is pleasant. Downstairs is the quiet zone, with a fixed schedule for silence requirements every week.

April and Cafe

Located on the bustling Andingmen Street, one of the owners of this place is a designer. The unique combination of red and white is unconventional yet appropriate, and stepping inside feels like stepping into a small café on a foreign roadside.

Hidden Hours

The store is called "Hidden" and opens at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. It has a total of four tables and the space is a bit cramped. Fortunately, the color scheme and decorations are pleasing. In addition to drinking in the store, you can also take away packaged coffee beans if you like.

Owlery Cafe&Brew

A coffee shop near Youth Road with various owl ornaments and decorations, offering a wide selection of coffee and tea, but a limited variety of cakes, only cheesecake.

Cafe Clark (Huafang Yicheng Store)

The shop occasionally plays Japanese songs, and the boss and waiters dress in a Japanese style. When the weather is good, you can sit down casually and the atmosphere is very healing.

Mplus Coffice

Located in the courtyard of People's Art Printing Factory, the baristas are friendly and often inquire about customer experiences. Apart from a variety of hand brews, they also serve the popular "Red Velvet Latte."

A Cup of Coffee

The protagonist plays Arctic Bubble Americano, which ingeniously combines Americano and Arctic Bubble soda, with colors and flavors that are very summery.
