Wstęp

Temple of Fuxi, also known as the Palace of Taihao or the Temple of Human Ancestors, was first built from the 19th to the 20th year of the Chenghua reign in the Ming Dynasty (1483 - 1484). After nine reconstructions, it has now become the only temple in China with a statue of Fuxi. The temple is built facing the street. Inside, there are 10 ancient buildings such as the opera tower, memorial archway, main gate, ceremonial gate, Hall of Innateness, Hall of Taiji, bell tower, drum tower, and Hall of Arriving Cranes, as well as 6 new buildings such as the side rooms for officials, stele corridors, and exhibition halls, totaling 76 rooms. Every year on the 16th day of the first lunar month, also known as the birthday of Fuxi, people in Tianshui will go to the Temple of Fuxi to pay homage, remember the great achievements of the cultural ancestor, recall the distant glory of Chinese civilization, cherish the blessings of the ancestor, and inherit and carry forward the culture of Fuxi.
