Introduzione

Il Golden Gate è una porta della città medievale, costruita a metà del XII secolo, modellata sul Golden Gate di Kiev. Oggi, rimane un edificio simbolico di Vladimir e un punto culminante di una strada vivace. Una volta, la città di Vladimir era circondata da mura cittadine con 5 porte esterne e 2 porte interne. Ora, l'unica porta rimanente è il Golden Gate. Alcuni resti delle strutture difensive possono ancora essere visti nelle vicinanze del Golden Gate. La chiesa sopra il Golden Gate è stata trasformata in una sala espositiva che mostra la storia della guerra. Mostra un modello che raffigura l'attacco a Vladimir dell'esercito mongolo il 7 febbraio 1238. I visitatori possono vivere l'evento con musica ed effetti luminosi nella sala espositiva.
