Introduction
"Iroha Slope" is a must-pass route to Okunikko, Yumoto Onsen, and Chuzenji Lake. There are two slopes here: the first one is a downhill lane only allowing downhill vehicles, and the second one is an uphill lane for uphill vehicles. These two slopes have a total of 48 sharp turns and an elevation difference of 440 meters. During autumn, there is a constant flow of tourists coming here to admire the autumn leaves, leading to frequent traffic jams on the slopes. Tourists can take buses from Nikko Station to Chuzenji Lake or Yumoto Onsen to enjoy the scenery. In addition, this is also one of the filming locations for "Initial D," and many famous scenes from the anime were filmed on these two slopes.
