Introduction

Heshun Ancient Town is located 4 kilometers west of Tengchong County, Yunnan Province. It is a famous overseas Chinese town and a must-visit place on the Tea Horse Ancient Road and the Southwest Silk Road. The ancient town is built around the mountains, with ancestral halls, archways, and ancient houses from the Ming and Qing dynasties scattered throughout the town. Li Genyuan, the prime minister of the Republic of China, praised Heshun as "better than Suzhou". In Heshun Library, you can see craftsmen making Xuan paper by traditional methods and buy some Xuan paper to take home. Tengchong has three treasures: Teng Xuan, Teng Yao, and Teng Bian. There are also various snacks in the ancient town, such as Cunshi bean noodles and Lai Dama pine flower cake, all with the taste of time. Finding a small restaurant and tasting local cuisine is also worthwhile.

Transport

Prenez le bus n° 6 / navette de l'aéroport de Tengchong jusqu'à l'arrêt de bus de la vieille ville de Heshun, et il faut environ 630 mètres à pied pour y arriver.
