Introducción
Fuhou Hall, located in Heye Town, Shuangfeng County, was built in 1865 during the reign of Emperor Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. It is a well-preserved "rural marquis mansion". The architectural and garden styles are rich, including the Crescent Pond in front of the gate, the gate tower, the main building of Eighteen Bays Hall, Gongji, Puji, and Fangji three book halls, the lotus pond, the bird and crane tower on the back mountain, the chess pavilion, the Cunpu Pavilion, and so on. The total area is more than 40,000 square meters, with a building area of 10,000 square meters. The book hall is the essence of Fuhou Hall, which once housed more than 300,000 volumes of books and is one of the largest private book halls preserved intact in the country. In 2006, the State Council announced Fuhou Hall as the sixth batch of key national cultural relics protection units. Fuhou Hall is one of the core scenic spots in the hometown of Zeng Guofan tourism area, with an area of approximately 100 square kilometers, including Zeng's ten halls, Zeng's ancestral tomb, Qiu Jin's former residence, and Cai Chang's former residence Guangjia Hall, and so on.
