Introduction

Located east of Lanzhou, Yuzhong County is a natural landscape called Xinglong Mountain. This mountain has an altitude of about 2500m and is composed of two peaks, the East and West Peaks. On the East Peak, there are many historical sites, such as Taoist temples and Buddhist temples. The West Peak is more magnificent, and Xinglong Gorge can also be found between the two peaks. Visitors can eat and stay at a hotel at the foot of the mountain. In addition, there is an international ski resort at the foot of Xinglong Mountain, which is the only fully equipped alpine ski resort in Lanzhou. The scenic routes in the area include Yunlong Bridge, Big Buddha Hall, Chiang Kai-shek's official residence, Maxian Mountain tourist resort, and Guantan Gully.

Transportation

Take the bus from the Tianshui Road Cross Bus Station in Lanzhou to Yuzhong County, which costs 8 yuan/person and takes 40 minutes to arrive at Yuzhong County Bus Station. Then transfer to a minibus for 5 yuan/person to reach the foot of Xinglong Mountain.
