The most beautiful scenery in the Netherlands is here - Van Gogh National Forest Park

When it comes to Van Gogh, people may only think of the legendary Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. However, the crowded and noisy tourist groups make us, who prefer tranquility, hesitate. However, in a small city on the east side of the Netherlands - Arnhem, there is a large and beautiful forest park. In the forest, there is an elegant art museum - the Kröller-Müller Museum, which houses nearly 270 Van Gogh works. This sunny summer, I had the privilege of visiting this unique forest park, not only fulfilling my dream of seeing the real works of the master Van Gogh for many years, but also experiencing the unique natural scenery of the Netherlands.

There is indeed a reason to call this park unique. It is the largest nature reserve in Northwestern Europe, with diverse landscapes, each with its own unique charm. Besides the ubiquitous deep and dense forests, it also features heathlands, sand dunes, wildlands, grasslands, marshes, and other natural sceneries. On a sunny morning, walking to the tune of birdsong, gazing at the shimmering water by the clear lake, enjoying a cup of authentic European coffee, and breathing in the fresh air that is almost extinct in the country, is truly one of life's great pleasures.
The Kröller-Müller Museum is definitely my most delightful discovery in the Netherlands. Located in a national park, it is hidden in a piece of pure land. Here, you can admire the second largest collection of Van Gogh's works in the world, along with numerous masterpieces by contemporary art masters such as Mondrian, Picasso, and Monet. It is simply the best art viewing experience. Besides paintings, you can also let your imagination run wild in the outdoor sculpture garden, appreciating all kinds of bizarre sculptures. It is truly a must-visit destination that you would regret missing!
