In Lushui City, there are 21 ethnic groups including Lisu, Bai, and Nu, with ethnic minorities accounting for 87% of the total population. Lushui County is located in the longitudinal valley of the Hengduan Mountains, with magnificent and dangerous canyon mountains and rivers, and is an important part of the 'Three Parallel Rivers' World Natural Heritage Site and the China Shangri-La Ecotourism Area.
