Einführung
Located on the island of Bali, Mount Batur is an active volcano surrounded by numerous villages known as Kintamani. Most hikers choose to stay in the villages surrounding Lake Batur and wake up early to climb the volcano. If time is limited, a day trip can also be arranged from Ubud to Mount Batur, but be sure to wear good hiking shoes and warm clothing. To catch the sunrise, the guide will pick you up around 3 am and take you to Mount Batur. After enjoying the breathtaking sunrise and a hearty breakfast, you will start hiking and return around noon.
