Einführung

This garden is the oldest in Suzhou's history and it is also one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou. It was originally built during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period by the King of Guangling in Wu Yue. It is built by the water and combines various flower window styles with bamboo. Compared with other Suzhou gardens, its biggest feature is its unique layout, combining rockeries with external pools. In this garden, the rockery and external pool water blend together, surrounded by beautiful bamboo, emitting an ancient and elegant atmosphere. The combination of nature and culture is harmoniously integrated and can be regarded as a well-designed garden.
