Einführung

Wangshi Garden is one of the representative works of classical Chinese garden, built in the Southern Song Dynasty and originally named "Yuyin". It wasn't until 1765 that it was renamed Wangshi Garden to commemorate the owner's artistic conception. Despite its low building density and small ponds, the whole garden exemplifies the characteristic of "less is more" in the Chinese gardening. Following the central axis from the entrance to the sedan hall, Wanjuan Hall, and Xie Xiu Tower, the main hall, Wanjuan Hall, is elegantly decorated and spacious. In addition to enjoying the layout of the garden, the annual night garden opening and watching the traditional Chinese performances is also a highlight of the garden.
