Einführung

This garden was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and is one of China's four famous gardens, alongside the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou, the Summer Palace in Beijing, and the Chengde Mountain Resort. The layout of the buildings in the garden is very intricate and there are many peculiar rocks, making it very famous. In this garden, you can enjoy four different views: mountains and rivers, fields, forests, and gardens. The park is divided into four parts: central, east, west, and north, with calligraphy from famous artists hanging on the walls of the curved corridors. The central part of the park is known for its water scenery and is the essence of the entire garden. The Guanyun Peak in the east is one of the three unique features of the garden, showcasing the four features of "thinness, wrinkling, leaking, and transparency" of Taihu stones, making it very distinctive.
