Einführung

One of the most famous classical gardens in Suzhou, alongside Beijing's Summer Palace, Chengde Mountain Resort, and Suzhou's Liuyuan, as one of the four famous gardens in China. The park is centered around water and surrounded by mountains and forests. The eastern landscape is open and transparent, while the western architecture is exquisite. The central point of the garden is a mountain-shaped pool, which is the essence of the entire garden. The southern part of the park is designed in accordance with the traditional Jiangnan architectural layout, and also features the only garden-themed museum in China, the Suzhou Garden Museum. Each year, the garden hosts a series of special events in the spring, summer and autumn seasons, such as the Rhododendron Festival, Lotus Festival, and Chrysanthemum Exhibition.
