Einführung

Xishan, also known as the Emerald Cock Mountain, provides a picturesque view of a woman lying on the shore of Dianchi Lake, earning it the nickname "Sleeping Beauty of Xishan." The mountain is densely forested and offers a fresh environment, making it a popular destination for tourists to hike and enjoy the panoramic view of Dianchi Lake. The Longmen Grottoes on the mountain are ancient and precious, attracting visitors with an interest in cultural heritage. The "Shuaxishan Festival" in March is a traditional folk festival in Kunming. Every year on the third day of the third lunar month, the people of Kunming gather here to sing and dance, creating a lively atmosphere. Tips: It takes about 2 hours to walk from the entrance to the Longmen Grottoes at the mountain top. It is recommended to take the eco-friendly shuttle bus directly to the Longmen Grottoes, and then leisurely walk down the mountain after visiting.
