Einführung

The mausoleum is the first imperial tomb in Chinese history, attracting great attention due to its enormous scale and abundant burial objects. Following the principle of Qin Shi Huang enjoying prosperity even after death, the mausoleum is constructed with a layout resembling the capital city of Qin, Xianyang, in the shape of a rectangle. Numerous relics have been discovered in the tomb area, including the main hall, annex halls, gardens, and administrative buildings. Although the tomb of Qin Shi Huang has not been excavated due to limited archaeological technology, visitors can still see a tall burial mound surrounded by peaks.
