Yangshan Xiaoguilin is located about 12 kilometers southeast of Shuikou Town, Qinglian Town, Yangshan County. The Lianjiang River flows here and makes a 90-degree turn. Along the winding river, there are undulating green hills with various stalactite forms on the cliffs. The green fields and old houses are scattered among the green hills and water, creating a scenery similar to the Lijiang River. The famous painter Guanshanyue visited here and referred to the Shuikou area as "Xiaoguilin".

The Guangdong First Peak Primitive Forest Scenic Area is located in the Nanling National Nature Reserve, 220 kilometers from downtown Guangzhou, covering an area of approximately 138 square kilometers. The scenic area includes Shikenglong with an altitude of 1902 meters, which is the highest peak in Guangdong and is known as the "Himalayas of Guangdong". With a natural ecological base, this area highlights the characteristics of the subtropical biological gene bank, with over two thousand species of plants, the largest primitive forest in Guangdong, vast forests, towering ancient trees, lush pines and cypresses, high mountain rhododendrons, unique flowers and grass, rare birds and animals, making it a feast for the eyes. The refreshing and fragrant negative ion atmosphere is beloved by visitors to the First Peak, with the average air negative ion content of Tianquan Waterfall exceeding 40,000/cm3, reaching a maximum of 105,700/cm3, making it the highest in the province and known as the "Holy Land of Negative Ions". The scenic area has planned and built six major tourist and experiential areas, including the Shikenglong Tourist Area, Taipingdong Yao Village, Chengjia Grand Valley, Tianquan Waterfall, Tianquan High Mountain Hot Spring, and First Peak Rafting. It offers a picturesque and harmonious environment that is stunning and enchanting. The three-star foreign-related hotel, Tianquan (Hot Spring) Resort, has been built, featuring a large Chinese restaurant, Yao Flavor Pavilion, conference rooms, Yao tribal-inspired bonfire evening parties, nightclubs, health sauna centers, and Foot Rhythm Pavilion. The hotel has over 200 mountain luxury villas, Yao-style stilted buildings, and luxury standard rooms, with a capacity of over 500 people. It is a famous AAAA-grade national tourism resort in Guangdong Province that integrates conferences, field trips, sightseeing, leisure, and a return to natural ecology. Notes for hot spring bathing: 1. Please bring your own swimsuit. 2. Cleanse your body before bathing to remove sweat and make it easier to absorb the minerals in the spring water. 3. Avoid bathing on an empty stomach or when too full. When soaking in the hot spring, drink plenty of water to replenish lost fluids. 4. Please remove metal accessories and remove makeup, nail polish, etc. before bathing. 5. Choose the hot spring pool with a temperature suitable for yourself, starting from low to high temperatures, and soak for 15-20 minutes each time. 6. Hot spring water is rich in minerals. It is recommended to use less shower gel after soaking in the hot spring and rinse with clean water to better maintain the minerals on the skin. 7. Hot spring bathing is a moderate intensity exercise. While it helps to relax the body and mind, sensitivity and attention may decrease, so drivers must rest for at least two hours before driving. 8. Do not soak in the hot spring for too long, as it may cause symptoms such as chest tightness, thirst, and dizziness. People with heart disease, hypertension, physical discomfort, malnutrition, recent illness, acute cold, acute illness, infectious disease, during menstruation, during pregnancy (early and late stages), are not suitable for hot spring bathing.
