Friendship Square is a round enclosed island square located in the center of Dalian city. It was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the China-Soviet Union friendship. In the center of the square, there is a huge crystal ball weighing 117 tons and with a diameter of 15 meters, which is composed of 3,120 pieces of coated glass. Inside the ball, there are 7,852 colorful lights, which can change into red, yellow, and green lights at night, creating a fascinating and charming atmosphere, making it a popular spot for visitors to take photos and commemorate their visit.

Dalian Modern Museum is located on the north side of Xinghai Square, Shahekou District, Dalian.
